We talked before about the 3 activities most cited by models, but nowadays, there are 3 new ones that seems to be catching the fashion world’s attention.

Soul Cycle

The new favorite of celebrities that revolutionized indoor cycling. I’ve always loved indoor cycling, even if I really hate working out, cycling is something I’ve always really liked. I confess when I first heard of Soulcycle, I wanted to try it right away, and since I’m not in the US, I’m still waiting for this opportunity to arrive.
It’s a 45 minutes class, in a candle lit darkened room, with very distinct movements that makes it such an unique experience.
Fortunately for us, we can find some cool videos on the internet to show us some of the things that separate Soul Cycle from traditional indoor cycling.
Soul Cycle is high-intensity and will burn loads of calories. Who is dying to try this out? Yep. me.

Ballet Beautiful

Ballet Beautiful is a 60 minute workout that uses ballet movements in targeted exercises to tone and lean the body. Cosmopolitan made a great video about it, check it out:
I personally love this one. It’s all the harmonious movements I love about ballet, without me having to showcase all my weirdness, clumsiness and goofiness dancing (and embarrassing forever my former-ballerina grandmother).
It was created by amazing Mary Helen Bowers, the one who trained Natalie Portman for her award-winning role in Black Swan. You know, that one everybody was dressing as in the carnival of 2011.
Unfortunately, again, I’m far from any place where I could get a class, but the good news is, the channel Be Fit made a series of videos with Ballet Beautiful exercises. I made a playlist with all of them, so we can try them at home, shall we? Don’t forget to stretch!

Model Fit

The interesting thing about Model Fit that definitely separates it from the others is that it’s not just a workout program, it includes nutrition and is basically focused in promoting a healthier life altogether.
This workout program incorporates a mix of Pilates, Yoga, movement, motion, balance stability and functional training. A lot of the models’ previous favorites,remember?

From the 3, this was the one I felt the least attracted to, as it is a mix of everything I’ve seem already. But this was until I saw their website. The nutritional part, making it a complete program, the whole ambience, I totally want to workout there. And I’m a couch potato, gents: It’s really hard for me to actually feel inspired to work out, but modelFit really made it.
